   The Scars and Deformity you see in the picture are minor compared to the Physical, Mental, and Emotional Pain that I feel inside. I have no way of showing you that kind of pain.

I got silicone breast implants in the early 1980's, following a radical mastectomy.Since then, my health has been on a steady decline.

I consulted with three different doctors before having surgery. Not one doctor warned me about any side effects or possible health risk. Nor did any doctor suggest it may be my implants causing my illnesses. I have undergone numerous surgeries , since getting implants.

I Underwent surgery for the following reasons:

  • Baker 3 contractions (severity level of contaction)
  • Implant Ruptures
  • Infections
  • Hematomas
  • Surgery on my chest wall to remove lumps of silicone
  • Surgery to replace implants, with what was thought to be "The Safe Implants" saline
  • Surgery for a complete capsulectomy (Implants Ruptured)
  • More surgery to remove more lumps of silicone

    All of this has caused me untold suffering, physically and mentally. Not only did I loose my health, but I lost my career, my husband, and my home.
    The pain and anguish I suffer daily,has impacted my children and caused them great pain and concern.

    It has taken me almost 10 years, to find out the truth about the dangers of silicone breast implants. This deception affected not only my life, but all women.
    If we had been presented with the potential health dangers (that Dow knew for over 40 years). I for one would never have taken the risk.

       Silicone has destroyed my life!
